Regis Catholic Schools has, over the last month or so, been working diligently with the Eau Claire City-County Health Department, the WIAA, other schools within Eau Claire County, and the Athletic Directors of other schools within the Cloverbelt Conference. The school has also consulted with the Diocese of La Crosse as it relates to the fall sports season. With thoughtful consideration, we have decided to begin all fall sports in the fall. In particular, the “high contact” sports of boys’ soccer, volleyball, and football will begin practice no earlier than Monday, September 7.
Practices will be conducted with the utmost consideration of the athlete and coach’s health and safety at all times. Practices will be held on the Regis Catholic Schools campus. It is our intention to be able to participate in contests this fall, however those details have not yet been finalized.
Parents and fans of Regis Catholic School teams need to remember that it may be very likely that NO MATTER where a game is held, fan participation may be limited or not allowed. No matter what, we will ensure every contest Regis Catholic Schools is the lead member of will be live streamed via our school website.
All questions and concerns regarding this should be directed to the Regis High School Athletic Director, Jonathan Jarocki, at jjarocki@RegisCatholicSchools.com or Principal, Paul Pedersen, at ppedersen@RegisCatholicSchools.com.
Thank you for your continued support of Regis athletics.
